Zeynep Nur ÇİVİCİK / Founding Partner

Zeynep attained her undergraduate degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Law and her graduate degree from Istanbul Bilgi University. After working as an in-house consultant for prominent companies in Türkiye and abroad for many years, she established Çivicik Law Firm in 2021 to provide her expertise to clients. Zeynep specializes in in corporate law, data protection, commercial law, and employment law, and is adept at providing effective solutions to a diverse range of legal issues.
Apart from her consultancy work, Zeynep is a registered mediator and legal consultant for global companies in the technology, cosmetics, informatics, and media sectors, helping them protect their rights in Türkiye. She is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and has an advanced level of proficiency in English.
İrem YILDIZ / Partner
İrem attained her undergraduate degree from Marmara University Faculty of Law. After graduation, she worked for boutique law firms, global companies and start-up companies with a focus on intellectual property law. İrem joined Çivicik Law Firm in 2021 to provide her valuable expertise to the Firm and to its clients. Her multidimensional approach to legal matters, resourcefulness, and meticulous attention to detail are just a few of the qualities that make her an invaluable asset to the team.
İrem is well-versed in a wide range of legal areas, including corporate law, contract law, and data protection and is a legal consultant for global companies in the publishing, technology, informatics, and media sectors. She has a proven track record of delivering practical and innovative solutions to complex legal issues. She is also a registered mediator and a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and has an advanced level of proficiency in English.
VOLKAN AKBAŞ / Counsel

Volkan Akbaş received his undergraduate degree from Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law in 2004 and completed his master’s degree in Economic Law at the same university. He began his career by providing consultancy services to both foreign and domestic capital companies at various law firms. Between 2007 and 2015, Volkan specialized in regulatory and competition law, managing audit, investigation, and exemption processes at leading telecommunications companies in the industry.
As of 2015, he transitioned into a new phase of his career, continuing to offer his expertise and knowledge to clients, particularly in the areas of competition law consultancy, investigation and audit management, compliance work, and legislative strategies. In addition to his consultancy role, Volkan Akbaş is a registered mediator with the Mediation Department of the Ministry of Justice and a member of the Istanbul Bar Association. With his extensive experience and specialization in competition law and Fintech, Volkan Akbaş provides valuable contributions as a consulting attorney at Çivicik Law.

Önder has received his bachelor's degree from Istanbul University Faculty of Law in 2023. During his studies, he actively participated in numerous events and seminars. During his internship period, he worked as a trainee lawyer in the litigation and corporate departments of various law firms, specializing in Rent, Labor, Enforcement, Commercial, Trademark-Patent, and Criminal law. Önder continues his professional career at Çivicik Law Firm. He is a member of the Istanbul Bar Association and has an advanced level of English.
